Yes I made it in record time in fact! I've done the Seattle to L.A. drive so many times on tour and such that it just seemed to breeze by... I only drank one energy drink and two coffees the whole way! I even surprised myself... So I've been down here for like two weeks and it's been awesome! One highlight was the ASCAP I Create Music expo that I went to... It was so much fun and so inspiring to see and meet all those amazing songwriters and composers. Some people who I thought were really inspiring were Steve Miller, Josh Kear, Chris Thompkins, Jodi Marr, Carvin Haggins and Ivan Barias, Busbee, Bun B, and Chamillionaire! That's right I said Chamillionaire I have to say that Bun B and him were the most supportive and articulate presenters I saw... Which surprised me. I quickly went home after their talk and listened to "Riddin Dirty" and "Big Pimpin" like 10 times each! If you ever get the chance to go and your interested in songwriting or composing... go it's awesome...
Some other cool people I met were QBA Libre, and Saba Saba. QBA ia MC from Miami who was a supercool guy and lives in L.A. now... Look for collabes in the future with this cat and me! Saba is Ugandas number one MC and is holding it down in L.A.... Dude is all over the place, mostly playing the college scene... Very cool sound from Saba!
