In all the cities in the U.S.A I would not expect this out of Seattle, let alone from a rag like The Stranger that consistently supports, atrocious, marginally talented, and inappropriately ironic "indie rock".
I'm always surprised by this city in good ways and in bad ways.... Finally someone tells the truth about "Vampire Weekend" and their "Upper West Side Soweto" sound in this article!
